Movie Lists
Movie lists such as "Todays Top 40", "New Releases", Coming Soon" etc will display details of media that is available for rental or purchase in all Video 2000 Stores.

Please contact your local store to check availability. Media listed on the site is sorted by the categorys we use in our stores, this way it will be easier for you to search just one section of the store. To locate the media at store click the listed media title name or image and you will be directed to the "Title Details" page. On this page you will find all the relevant information for this media.

Todays Top 40
Our Top Forty list is a listing of the 40 most popular rented movies at stores and is determined by all the movies rented in our Australia wide stores. It quickly shows you what over 250,000 of our current members are watching daily, sorted in the most popular movie first.

New Releases
Our New Release list is a brief listing of the biggest releases available over the last 60 days and may at times include previously released titles.

Coming Soon
This is a brief listing of movies coming to a Video 2000 store near you within the next 60 days. Release dates and Movie details are subject to change, the list may at times include Re Releases of titles.

Finding or Listing a Movie on the Site
You can find Movies on the site by using one of our pre defined search’s Like “New Release”, “Todays Top 40” and the category menu or you can type a full or partial Title, Actor or Directors name in the “Movie Search” box and click OK.

A few hints when searching, none of our titles begin with the word “THE” or “A” they are added to the end of the title as follows, “Keeper, The” or “Keeper, A”.

On the category list pages the movies always list as show all in alphbetical movie title order, this is the default. You have an additional sort button where you can sort by alpha character (a particular start letter) to list all movies starting with that letter/number.

Movies For Sale
The title detail page will list any movies currently available for sale within a Video 2000 store.

Use our "Internet Sales" links on this site to locate movies you wish to buy. You will be redirect to our V2 Direct sale site which contains many movies not available in our stores. You can search by title, actor or director.

V2 Direct has an enormous library of Rare used movies available for Sale. Some of these will be rental only titles that will not be available for purchase anywhere else. This includes surplus stock from Video 2000 stores around the country.

All Used DVD Movies are Re Surfaced and inspected in our state of the Art Disc Repair facility. The disc playing surface will appear to be brand new with No scratches or marks that will interfere with its play and will have been tested in our DVD inspection equipment and certified to be error free.

Used DVD movies may be missing bonus disk materials and could have slightly different features from those described on the web site, however the movie content will always be the same.

The Disc may have an ID label in the centre of the Disc. This label will not interfere with playing the Disc and we strongly recommend you leave it on the disc as its removal could damage the disc.

The DVD will be supplied in a hard plastic cover with the original movie slick that may feature some library category or price labels.
